We are currently seeking a Business Integration Manager to join our Vancouver based team.

 

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this position will be responsible for formulating and implementing plans and strategies to ensure the growth, viability and business success of Contac Services. The ideal candidate will assist the Client Services Team to develop revenue streams from new products and services while optimizing existing channels through sales and marketing approaches tailored to the changing needs of our customer and prospect base. The preferred candidate will have a passion for and experience in the areas of business requirements, budgeting, project management, process implementation, internal business operations and in leading teams that perform these functions in driving their performance forward. The incumbent is a proactive self-starter who has an entrepreneurial spirit, a leader that thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited by developing and implementing new tools and processes that increase business efficiency and improve operations.

 

Ideally you have experience  and grown through the ranks so you understand that what happens at the ground level ultimately impacts the overall success of a program or project.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with the Client Service Team to manage the details, business requirements and back-end processes, so that they can stay focused on managing and growing the business
• Manage and lead a team of business analysts and project managers, to ensure delivery of the agreed products and services on time and on budget
• Optimize team performance by articulating the business goals and required tasks to achieve these goals, from the  perspective of the client, the end user and Contac
• Responsible for overseeing the business unit's planning and development, to be the hub of communication with internal/external business partners, as well as internal groups
• Leading and managing both leaders and individual contributors to produce results as well as grow their capacity into the future
• Other duties as assigned

 

Experience:

• 5+ years experience in business requirements and integration in a corporate environment with expertise in B2B products and services such as software development, printing and logistics, and/or marketing
• Considerable experience leading teams, performing project management and gathering requirements from clients and end users
• Experience within at least one of the travel, hospitality or software industry a definite must

 

Skills:

• Extremely detail orientated with the ability to see the “bigger picture”
• Clear and effective communicator with excellent people and relationship skills
• French language skills are a definite asset
• Strong command of English language with strong written and verbal communication
• Self starter, self motivated and works well both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to effectively handle multiple company and management directives by prioritizing and through efficiency
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a strong follow through on tasks
• Strong public speaker with excellent PowerPoint Presentation capabilities and comfortable presenting to large groups
• Proficiency in PC, Windows, Outlook, MS Office and Blackberry
• Extremely detail orientated

 

Other Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, business administration, economics or marketing
• Must possess strong business acumen and be able to conduct business at multiple levels, from senior decision makers to development teams

 

This is a full time, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday position but could require flexibility to work on call, unusual hours or extended shifts when necessary.
