We are currently seeking a Web Application Tester to join our Vancouver Team

 

A Web Application Tester will ensure release of high quality, reliability and positive user experience of our world-class web applications.  Working in a fast-paced team environment, the Web Application Tester will be responsible for defining, planning, executing and maintaining quality control over all our web applications.  The Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

• Development of detailed test plan, test cases and test methods based on user requirements
• Perform functional and regression testing of new and existing web applications
• Automate testing of products to improve time-to-market
• Interface with web designers, backend developers and web store application developers to ensure positive user experience and high-quality integrated products
• Reporting and tracking of software anomalies
• Identify software tool to regressively test web base applications
• Other duties as assigned

                                                                   
The ideal candidate will have between 1-3 years experience.  Area of study preferred is QA testing.

 

Experience:

• Web based application Testing
• Min 1 year hands on experience with software tool to regressively test web based applications
• Web navigation and online web ordering
• ASP.NET, JavaScript and HTML is an asset

 

Skills:

• Testing website forms, broken links, W3C standard, cross browser testing
• Testing and deploying processes and activities
• Organized and meticulous with exceptional communication skills, professionalism, ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Extensive experience using MS Office tools
• Able to coordinate multiple projects in a deadline-orientated environment
• Ability to adapt to high pressure/high volume seasons
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work under time constraints in a professional manner
• A dedicated team player while working under minimal supervision
• Ability to set up web applications within IIS preferred
• Min of 1 year working with IIS and SQL scripting with SQL 2005 is an asset
