We are currently seeking a Web and Performance Analyst to join our Vancouver based team.

 

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Web & Performance Analyst is a senior consultant role that provides expertise in web analytics and directly supports the Executive, IT and Marketing management teams. The position will provide value added analysis and recommendations through the development, interpretation and analysis of web site reporting. This will include, but is not limited to:

• Weekly web site and performance reporting
• Recommendations for site optimization
• User visit and traffic path analysis
• Transaction, conversion, abandonment and lead generation and management
• KPI tracking and reporting
• Client satisfaction

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue weekly reports and provide insight and recommendations
• Analyze web performance to improve conversion rates
• Create and maintain benchmark reporting for case study analysis
• Measure/report impact of web activity on ecommerce activity
• Determine and track user lifecycle and value of web user
• Provide analytical and decision support to key decision makers internally and externally
• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators, projections and performance analyses
• Liaise with IT, marketing, web developers and other members of the web production team to implement enhancements and new services
• Assist with planning and testing platform upgrades (i.e. new PURL or transactional improvements)
• Other duties as assigned

 

Experience and Area of Study:

• 3 - 5 years experience managing content or production for high-traffic websites
• Minimum 2 years using web analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Omniture Site Catalyst and other tools)
• Member of Web Analytics Association
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

 

Skills:

• Facilitation and presentation to senior management
• Ability to provide multiple team support while completing  tasks in a timely and professional manner
• Leading change initiatives and marketing case support
• Business to consumer web site focus
• Vendor evaluation and recommendation (web analytic tools)
• Developing data management processes
• Ability to mentor others in web site analysis

 

This is a full time, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday position but will require flexibility to work on call, unusual hours or extended shifts when necessary.
