Our goal is to continue to develop and expand both our Company and our people. We are currently seeking a Die-Cutter Operator to join the Delta Print Operations Team.

 

The successful candidate will ensure that all cutting is produced in a timely manner with close attention to detail and quality.  The objective is to ensure that Contac maintains a leading edge over competitor’s through successful and respected quality of print produced in a timely and cleanly manner.  Successful completion will lead to continued training and competitive remuneration.

 

Reporting to the Plant Manager and Production Supervisor, the job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain and follow production and safety procedures in an orderly and tidy manner.
• Ability to setup and run die-cutting equipment to high level of satisfaction and quality
• Ability to setup die-cutting programs and train others
• Ability to think through a problem and troubleshoot
• Collaboratively work in a team, maintaining a healthy and safe work environment
• Strong understanding of the steps involved in the printing processes
• Adhere to the production schedules and requirements, to verify accuracy and quality assurance
• Other duties as assigned

     
The ideal candidate will: 

• Have 3 years experience in die-cutting
• Have previous experience working on a KAMA 74
• Be methodical, meticulous and tidy
• Be able to troubleshoot and think through a problem
• Have good communication skills and be computer literate
• Be willing to learn new equipment
• Be willing to learn Contac’s health and safety policies
