French Copywriter

We are currently seeking a French Copywriter to join the Vancouver team.

 

Reporting to the Manager, Client Services, eConciergeTM, the French Copywriter will be responsible for creating a unique brand tone and ensuring that this tone is consistent for all Contac Services Inc. communications in French. In this hands-on position you will work with the Marketing and Content Management Team, to translate and create compelling promotional and informative copy in French.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Convert existing English copy into French copy, optimizing the copy for the French-speaking reader
• Craft flawless, grammatically sound copy in French from scratch
• Transform marketing material into powerful supporting  copy for a variety of online and print media
• Write copy that informs, motivates or sells, tailored to various environments, audiences and/or objectives
• Keep consistent copy standards and style in a fast-paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

 

Experience:

• Three to five  years copywriting and translating in a corporate business environment

 

Skills:

• Ability to handle multiple company and management directives by prioritizing and through efficiency
• Ability to effectively and regularly communicate to both internal and external clients regarding the status of a job, workflow, and estimated completion date(s)
• Self starter, self motivated, works well both independently and in a team environment, entrepreneurial attitude
• Highly detail oriented and organized
• Project management with little supervision

 

Other Specific Requirements

• Native French fluency – written and oral
• Must be fluent in English – written and oral
• Knowledge of  e-marketing strategies, tools and trends
• Post-secondary education – Bachelors Degree in one of the following preferred areas of study: communications, marketing, journalism, business or languages
