Comic Relief was founded by comedians who wanted to use comedy and laughter to raise money and change lives while making sure that everyone had a great time in the process. To help raise awareness of their two fundraising campaigns Red Nose and Sport Relief, and to increase annual donations, Comic Relief wanted to reach their existing and prospective donors in new and innovative ways.

Inspire

Since Comic Relief is keen on red noses, not on red faces, they chose dsi – Contac's partner in the UK – to handle prospect mailings, response handling (including payment), and fulfillment and dispatch of red noses to schools and work places across the UK.

Contac also developed a special Sport Relief pack using colour digital print that brought together a sponsorship form, location map, personalized letter and instructions into a single digital output.

Execute

By increasing production efficiencies, Comic Relief has been able to allocate a greater proportion of each and every donation to the cause itself instead of operation costs.
